Joe Greene grew up an admirer of music. From church choir to high-school band Joe discovered early his love for the sounds of early America. Jazz and blues found it's way into his heart the day that he discovered Billie Holiday's "Strange Fruit". With words so powerful and a story so sad she solidified his love for the genre at the age of 12. His mother bought him his first harmonica at the age of 14 in a Harley Davidson shop in Ocean City, Maryland and there was no turning back.
Since his then he has fallen in love with so many forms of music but the influences and soul of the blues has remained a constant presence in his writing. From 2004 till now Joe had lived in LA performing with various acts as well as his own projects. And when tomorrow comes...who knows?
